Description:
Species of Lily are native to the temperate northern hemisphere-Eurasia and eastern North America. It is mainly cultivated in the shaded gardens in many temperate parts of the world. Naturalized in other parts of North Africa, Italy, Europe, Ukraine, Mexico, Canary Islands, and other parts of the world.
The Lily oil is also called Madonna lily oil.
The essential oils extracted from the flowers yield 0.06 to 0.5% oil. The oil is rich in linalol, vanillin, terpineol, phenylethyl alcohol.
