Description:
Jasminum sambac is a species of jasmine native to tropical Asia. It is evergreen, maintaining its smooth, dark green leaves throughout the year. Thickly cultivated in China, Bhutan, and Tibet in the Himalayan region. It is often known as Arabian Jasmine, even though it is not grown in ancient Arabia. It thrives in many countries.
Jasmine flower is the national flower of Indonesia.
Jasmine oil is extracted from its flower and the yield from 0.14 to 0.19.
