Description:
Galbanum is an aromatic gum resin and a product of the genus Ferula.

Ferula Galbaniflua is native to southern Europe, North Africa, and western Asia. It grows particularly well in Iran and India. Galbanum comes from Europe, India, Turkey, and Iran.

Galbanum Essential Oil is steam distilled from the resin of a flowering plant that is indigenous to Iran (Persia). Galbanum gum contains the essential oil and upon steam-distillation yields 10-22% essential oil. Galbanum oil is rich in monoterpenes including alpha and beta-pinene, camphene, delta-3-carene, bornyl acetate and1-alpha phellandrene.

Odor profile:
Green, spicy balsamic, and woody.

Major Constituents:
Pinene, Gamma-3-Carene, Sabinene, B-Myrecene, Myrcene, Terpinolene, Bulsenol, Galbanol, Limonene, Beta phellandrene guaiol, Bornyl acetate, Fenchyl acetate, Tergenyl acetate, Linalyl acetate, and Cadinene.

Application:
