Champaca is native to Southeast Asia in other words we can say the tree is native to the Indomalayan region, consisting of South Asia, Southeast Asia−Indochina, and southern China. It is found on the western coast of India, Konkan, Himalayan mountain in India, and also in China. Champaca is a large evergreen tree.
Essential oil is obtained by the steam distillation of the flower. The percentage yields of oil are 0.1 to 0.5%. The oil possesses numerous pharmacological properties like Antioxidant, Anti-inflammatory, Antimicrobial, and Insecticidal
