The commonest form of commercial propagation is by twin scaling (bulb), in which the bulbs are cut into some small pieces. Press bulbs, upright, into the prepared soil with the pointed end up and the fatter, flat end down. Cover bulbs with soil 2.5 to 3 times deeper than the bulb height. Planting each bulb at the same depth will help ensure that they all bloom at the same time. Water just after planting and continue to water regularly while keeping the soil moist.

Narcissus bulbs are very easy to grow, require less maintenance. With minimum care, Narcissus flourishes well.
