Description:
Jamarosa is a grass hybrid of Cymbopogon nardus var. confertiflorus x Cymbopogon jwarancusa. Cymbopogon belongs to the family Poaceae, which is widely distributed in the tropical and subtropical regions of Africa, Asia, and America. The origin of jamarosa grass is in India.

Jamarosa Oil is extracted from the grass of the Jamarosa plant. Freshly harvested foliage and flowering shoots yield 0.2 to 0.5% essential oil. The active ingredient in Jamrosa is Geraniol (50-55%) and Geranyl acetate (20-22%).

Odor profile:
sweet floral rosy, with a citrusy, minty top-note.

Citral, Linalyl acetate, Trans-caryophyllene, Patchoulane, β-ocimene, Farnesol, Geranyl butyrate Neryl acetate, Limonene, and Citronellal.

Application:
~ Jamarosa oil has been used as a perfumery compound for various industrial products.
~ It is also good for making insect repellant in combination with other essential oils.
~ Jamarosa oil has a slightly rosy and fruity aroma that gives positive effects on the nervous system in fighting against insomnia, anxiety, and fatigue.
